Have a student who would benefit from some summer tutoring? Summer is a great time to help students catch up or get ahead. School is out, no homework, and the pressure has been lifted. This less stressful environment is ideal for working with students on reading, math and study skills as well as for rebuilding self-esteem that may have been battered a bit after a challenging school year. Club Z! can help.

Some of our most requested summer tutoring subjects are:

  • Reading Skills/Comprehension
  • Study/Organization Skills ( for all ages)
  • Foreign Languages
  • Math Skills
  • Algebra/Geometry/Calculus
  • SAT Test Preparation
  • College Essay Assistance
  • Summer Assignments

Club Z! In-Home Tutoring Services, the nation's largest in-home tutoring company, has been operating in Chesterfield County for about a year and has already helped over 150 local students of all ages achieve success in the classroom. Club Z! provides high quality, individualized tutoring to students in their own home, at times that are convenient for parents.

According to Diana Garbera, owner of Club Z! of Chesterfield County, "Tutoring in the home allows for as comfortable and non-competitive a setting as possible. It eliminates the pressure and embarrassment of the classroom setting so students are free to focus on the lesson at hand. Club Z! students make progress more quickly," according to Garbera, "because they get the individual attention they need."

Parents also benefit from the convenience of in-home tutoring. Tutoring can be scheduled to accommodate working parents and summer activities. Tutoring can occur any time, and parents love that they don't have to fight the traffic to drive their child to and from tutoring.

Chesterfield County's Club Z! is locally owned and operated, as are all 250+ Club Z! franchises throughout the US. Club Z! tutors are either state certified or degreed professionals with expertise in the area they are tutoring. Many are actively teaching in area public and private schools.

Club Z! matches tutors to students based on individual academic needs and personality. One tutor is assigned to the student for the duration of the tutoring. Students work at their own pace, with most sessions lasting from one to two hours. Club Z! does not require long-term contracts and can work around summer vacations.
