am available for day and evening but prefer that children come to
my house to be watched.
I have over 15 years experience in childcare and am CPR & First Aid
trained for infants and adults.I have worked with both physically
& mentally challenged children. I am currently an approved Henrico
County Foster Care Provider and have had all criminal background checks
done and have also been TB tested through the County for this.At this
time we have one foster child in our care and receive classes every
month on raising children, dealing with temper trantrums, attention
problems and many different ways to disipline children without using
corporal punishment. I do not believe in any type of this kind of
punishment on any child and believe that time out is the best way
to deal with a child's unruly behavior. I have taken a Nurse's Aide
class through Henrico County school's and passed with a 98 as a final
grade for this class.
I am mostly interested in keeping children on a full time basis and
hope this is what you are looking for through your group. If you know
of any other resourses to find children to keep I would appreciate
it very much.
