"I am a Junior at Lynchburg College, with an English/Writing Major
and a minor in Secondary Education. I have extensive experience
with children ages Birth to early Teens.
I do not consider work with children as work but as fun. I would
love to work with you and your children!
I have been babysitting since I was 11, worked as church nursery
care provider, as a Nursery School Teacher's Aid, at a Summer Camp
for the past 2 summers (ages 5-11), and as a mother's helper for
a family with a 4 year old and 1 year old triplets since the 4 year
old was born.
I also volunteer in a Private School for children with learning
disabilities, as a Reading Tutor in an elementary school and a volunteer
for the Daniel Project, a program for children with Mental Retardation
ages Birth to 3 years.
I recently spent the fall semester in Ireland, so I welcome new
experiences. Exellent references will be provided. I have my own
transportation, as I am willing to drive within an hour or two of
Williamsburg/Lynchburg to work with you. I am mainly looking for
a full time summer nanny/aupair job, but partime and weekends are
