PARENT-TOT
This class for 2 year olds is the first step to preschool
and socializing where mom/dad and child come together
to play and learn. Parenting topics are also discussed
each week. Through participation in this class, your
child will feel comfortable and more independent when
he/she starts preschool.
GREAT BEGINNINGS
This class is geared for children who are 2 years
old by September. It meets for 2 days per week. A
parent attends with the child from September-January.
Beginning in January the children will go to class
independently.
PRESCHOOL
Preschool meets from 9:00am - 12 noon. 2 1/2 year
olds attend 2 mornings, 3 year olds attend 3 mornings
and older children attend 5 mornings per week. Preschool
includes weekly instruction in music, motor development,
guidance, and computer. One hour of each school day
is devoted to a unique program called Open Time which
encourages independence, risk taking, decision making,
and exploration.
ADDITIONAL PROGRAMS
Canterbury also offers early morning drop off as well
as a variety of optional afternoon enrichment activities
and summer camps.
