Girls and Boys, ages 8-15 enjoy kayaking, rock climbing, rappelling,
our 350'zip-line, and our famous 5 mile kayak trip - a Rite of Passages!
The week is packed with fun and adventure. We provide all lunches,
snacks, drinks, gear, and a 4:1 Camper to Counselor ratio.

One Week Sessions:
Every day includes time for swimming, lunch, and snacks so
all a Camper needs to bring is a water bottle.

Based on the traditional one week sessions, but with only
girls attending. Girls take to the rock and river with ease.

Overnight Camps

Rock Week: If the Cliffs at Belle Isle have
become too easy, Rock Week is the perfect way to boost climbing
skills to the next level. Join our 7-day rock climbing trip
to the New River Gorge in West Virginia, the oldest river
gorge in the USA! Learn to scale world-class routes in the
Grand Canyon of the East which has over 2,000 climbs. At night,
campers enjoy tent camping near Summersville Lake. These sessions
improve basic climbing technique while teaching outdoor top-rope
set-up and lead climbing.
Ages: 11-16
Cost: $1075
Skill level: Able to confidently climb 5.9 or better
2008 Dates: Aug 4-10 Aug 11-17
River Week: This is what kayaking is all about!
Take the passion and skills you've honed on the James River
and elevate it to a completely new level. Join our 7-day kayaking
trip to the New River Gorge in West Virginia for nothing but
kayaking, camping and fun. You can look forward to big water,
sweet drops, advanced play boating and of course, river safety.
At night, campers will enjoy tent camping near Summersville
Lake. All kayaking will be on the New River as well as a trip
to Valley Falls on the Tygart River.
Ages: 12-17
Cost: $1075
Skill level: Passed the Kayaking Level IV of the Rock and
River Master Program
2008 Date: July 28-Aug 3
Primitive Skills Camp: This camp takes place
in western Virginia and teaches Campers to learn to live in
nature without a backpack. Campers spend the week exploring
the secrets of wilderness survival including the art of making
a fire without matches, tracking animals, building a debris
hut, and more.
Ages: 11-16
Cost: $615
Skill level: A great attitude and a solid commitment to learning
outdoor skills
2008 Dates: July 28-Aug 1
Club Shred Kayaking Sessions: If you didn't have anyone to
kayak with, you do now! Shake-off that rust in the Spring
and keep the passion alive in the Fall during our guided kayak
trips on the James River. Bring your own kayak and gear -
we'll take care of the rest. Continue your progress in the
Rock and River Master Program while having a blast. Depending
upon the river level and experiences of our Club, we'll pick
appropriate sections of the river to run. If your camper has
their sights set on being a kayaking Counselor in Training,
this is an incredible way to perfect their skills.
Ages: 10-17
Cost: $90 for three River Trips
Skill level: Passed Level III of the Rock and River Master
program and have their own gear

Finally! A Passages style camp for your younger
campers!! Our brand new Base Camp One Week Sessions provide a great
opportunity to experience fun and adventure for your child ages
5-7. Your child's session will be filled with awesome indoor
rock climbing at Peak, Camp Olympics, energetic games, swimming
and a sweet bouncy house. Your camper will learn the skills of rock
climbing, teamwork and build valuable relationships with both kids
and staff alike. We provide all gear, snacks, lunches, drinks, and
a 5:1 camper to counselor ratio.
Our camp counselors are energetic, friendly people
whose passion is working with kids. The staff also believe in creating
a fun, supportive environment for each camper to experience and
enjoy throughout the week of camp. Our fun and adventurous camp
will help build self-esteem and confidence in your child. If you
are looking for a fun, unique, and exciting half-day camp for your
child, this is the Camp!
Drop-off (8-8:30 a.m.) and pick-up (12:30-1 p.m.)
for Base Camp is located at Peak Experiences Indoor Rock Climbing
Center located at 11421 Polo Circle in Midlothian, VA.
