"I am currently working with students of all ages in an ABA intensive program at a private school, as well as working with students who have been identified as having other disabilities as well.

I do in-home service as well with students who are autistic. I keep students with disabilities overnight for parents that travel, or just want to get away. That is a seperate price -- I do an assessment before the in-home services are provided. I have started doing that with some of my former students, and love it. I am able to see them in a different atmosphere than while at school.

My strengths include the ability to work with special needs students as well as general education students.

I have been tutoring for the past few years in my home, and the children I tutor have benefited from my working with them a lot.

I earned my Masters degree in Special Education from Longwood College in December of 2002.

I teach behavior skills to students and study habit skills as well, if that is an area that needs improvement.

I usually have all my students set goals for themselves each week and when I meet with them, we go over each goal and if it was met or not. This helps the students care for themselves, and track their progress throughout the week. It gives them responsibility as well, and that is what is needed in all students.

My concentration is working with Autistic students, and providing help for them not only in the classroom but at home and in the community as well."
