"I have my degree in elementary education and sociology from The College of William and Mary. I am certified to teach k-8. My certification includes provisional certification for special education. I have been tutoring for five years..

I taught third grade in Hanover for 6 years before deciding to stay home with my daughter. I have tutored for five years -- students ranging from 2nd grade to 8th grade. I will be tutoring freshmen this year also.

While teaching, I collaborated with Special Education teachers. I am comfortable working with students who have IEPs for ED and LD.

I have also worked with gifted students in William and Mary's Summer Programs for Gifted Students.

I am very willing to travel to the student's home or to a local library for tutoring.

Please contact me if you think I can be of any assistance to you and your child!""
