"I have a BA in Education from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia. I am certified to teach in Virginia grades K-8. I have a Masters in Reading from Virginia Commonwealth University. I have six years of teaching experience in the elementary classroom. I spent four years implementing an instructional model to assist students struggling in the classroom for the Henrico County School System. This model was developed at the University of Maryland and is entitled The Instructional Support Team. I currently consult with the Virginia State Department of Education on the statewide expansion of this model."
