am presently tutoring writing/reading/English in the Richmond area.
I have worked with kids my whole life as a coach for soccer, track,
and tennis. I have also taught at educational summer camps and was
a mother's helper for 7 months. I have a BA in English with a concentration
in writing. I spent my senior year of college as the only student
member of the team of professors and administrators re-editing my
school's nationally acclaimed senior symposium text books. I also
helped develop and was first to complete the independent study course
"Novel Writing" during my senior year. I won The 2004 Libbie Keeton
LaPrade Creative Writing award and was published in the literary
magazine on campus. After years of working with children and studying
writing, it is nice to combine my two loves by helping kids learn
to be better writers. "
