"I have_had many years of experience with nannying and babysitting
infants-fourth graders, as well as teaching kindergarten, first,
second and fourth graders through 6 years of field experiences,
including my student teaching which I completed at Twin Hickory
Elementary. I am 23 years old, and have just graduated from Longwood
University:)! I am proud to say I actively earned the best education
in educating others that one could could receive, through field
experiences that took me into diverse socioeconomic classrooms,
with just as diverse students, and specialized courses to prepare
me to teach elementary through sixth grade. I am licensed to teach
PK-6th grade classrooms in the state of Virginia, through my Collegiate
Professional License. Specialized experiences include working with
special education students, PK-2nd, through the Teacher Intern program
at Godwin High School, and inumerable teaching experiences with
learning and emotionally disabled students during my field and student
teaching periods. My best strength that I naturally possess has_only
been strengthened through these experiences- I excel in the one-on-one_teacher
to student learning environment- and so will my students. I am a
creative, welcoming, kind, and patient person, and I genuinely want
my students to do well. I hope that tutoring can help students get
over those bumps in school that can sometimes cloud over their special
talents, and potential for a great school experience. My personal
school subject interests:_ Reading, Writing, English, Grammar,Vocabulary,
The Arts, Anything creative Out of school interests: Singing, working
with children, going to concerts, writing, learning to play guitar"
